How to write a Classification paragraph

This video teaches how to write a classification paragraph.
It demonstrates what classification is by providing an example.
To classify is to put items or concrete things into groups, categories or types on the basis of a common property. For example: The transport system can be categorized based on types of transportation. The types are: surface, water and air.
After the above introduction, the video looks at the topic: In-store shoppers and helps the reader to reflect on this group of people.

The writer needs to formulate an organizing principle that would help with placing these shoppers into groups. This video uses the organizing
principle: attitudes and actions.

This huge mass of shoppers is then divided into three distinct groups:

• Easy to please (shoppers)
• Hard to please (shoppers)
• Impossible to please (shoppers)

For each category the defining characteristics are described.
