I will be scrolling a book with my Pegas Scroll saw today. First I cut out 2 leaf shapes and then today I scrolled another shape. Once I finished, I popped out the shapes and put a paper cover on the book with a glue stick. After that I opened the book half way and inserted clay into the holes that the leaves had made. I then used thin wire to add the leaf shapes to with hot glue and I inserted the wire into the clay to make the leaves stand up. So now it looks like the leaves are falling down to the pages of the book. I also glued together some odd pieces of leaves and then placed them at the bottom of the book pages to look like leaves had fallen down onto the pages. Then using black coffee, I painted it onto the bottom pages of the book to make it look old and wrinkled. I love how my project turned out.
