An assassination attempt on Putin!

A Ukrainian intelligence official's claim to "assassinate Putin" was the country's top story. Speaking to a newspaper in his country, a senior official said "confidential information", saying Vladimir Putin survived the assassination attempt 2 months ago.

Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Intelligence Agency, told Ukrainian daily Ukrainian Pravda that "an attempt was made to assassinate Putin" in march.

In an interview with the newspaper, Budanov released unconfirmed information about Putin and did not provide evidence to support his latest claim.
