Looking to overseed your lawn? Got a few bare spots or thinning areas within your lawn? try to get some more seeds in place where possible to help keep it thick.
(This was filmed in September).
When overseeding your lawn try to purchase a similar type of grass to help it blend in. Many typical lawns will be a general amenity grass type. However many newer lawns are being laid on a premium grade of turf that may include fescue grasses, dwarf rye grasses or bent grasses.
This video explains in detail how to prepare your lawn for overseeding.
Remember preparation is everything!

Reseeding or seeding your lawn should be done every year. Naturally each year a percentage of grasses die or succumb to grubs or diseases or get worn away through extended use, or by pets urinating on the grass.
Renovating your lawn can also include scarifying the lawn and hollow tine aeration on the lawn. Please follow my other lawn care tip videos to get the most out of your lawn
