The number of Asians in the US has nearly tripled in the past 30 years. Texas is among the states experiencing the biggest growth. Migrants are often liberal-leaning, and that's shifting the political landscape of the country. That’s a worrying trend for Republicans in the Texas State Capitol. Republican lawmakers are trying to pass new legislation to make it harder for people in communities who usually vote Democrat to cast their ballots. They want to stop drive-through and 24 hour voting -- practices which advocates say tend to be favoured by young people and people of colour.
