Today we take an in-depth look at the Zander Surplus. We did a quick unboxing video over on the channel a month back and this will be the first of the full demos of the individual pedals, with the full Cranium demo coming later in the year. We take this pedal through it's paces and look at it doing the duty of a normal Tubescreamer style thickening boost and see how far it can go as a full-on crunch channel through a clean amp. We also take a look at the diode selection contol to see how it changes the character of the drive itself. if you'd like to see the full NTAT on the Zander Surplus to check out all of the controls in action, head down to www.youtube.com/budgetpedalchap .
Massive thanks to Alex at Zander Circuitry for sending these pedals through for demo, I have been blown away by just how versatilve they are. If you dig what you've seen today and want to pick up one of your own, head to www.zandercircuitry.co.uk where you can find the Surplus as well as a range of pedals that go from light, subtle drive to the filthiest gain monsters imaginable.
