New poll suggests Donald Trump would be president if 'election were held today'

A recent poll suggests Donald Trump would still be in office if the election were held today, according to Sky News host James Morrow.

"There's a big case of what I'm starting to call the phenomenon called Biden's regrets – where Biden voters now say ah gee, maybe the orange man wasn't so bad after all – one in 10 regretting their vote," Mr Morrow said.

"You add the numbers together – that would suggest that Donald Trump, if the election were held today, would still be in office and it would suggest that even though he did want to end that engagement in Afghanistan it would not have been done in such a chaotic and shambolic way."

The poll commissioned by Rasmussen Reports found that if an election were held today 43 per cent say they would vote for Mr Trump and 37 per cent say they would vote for Joe Biden.
