1. Electric Vehicle Policy rule approved in Odisha
With a view to cut down carbon emissions in the State, the Odisha Cabinet on Friday approved the Electric Vehicle Policy 2021. For the first time, such a policy has been approved in the State of Odisha.
2. Free ECMO Treatment In Odisha;
Keeping in mind the necessity of technology to tackle demands of treatment and other critical ailments, the Odisha Government on Friday launched a dedicated extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) unit at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
3. Odisha 10th State To Have Electric Vehicle Policy
Odisha today joined nine other states in the country to have a full-fledged policy for the sunrise sector - the electric vehicles. The State has set an ambitious target of accomplishing 20 electric vehicles per 100 vehicle registration when as of date, the electric vehicles carve only 0.06 percent of total vehicles on road in the State.
