On October 19, 2022, an Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to pull over a speeding vehicle in Port Washington, WI. The vehicle refused to pull over and fled at a high rate of speed. A minute later, the suspect vehicle struck a Port Washington Police Officer sitting on the on-ramp shoulder. Two males fled the vehicle on foot, crossing the four-lane interstate. Eventually, the passenger was apprehended in a parking lot and the driver was found in a very poor hiding spot.
