Using a Tree Diagram to Calculate Probabilities in a Multistage Phenomenon

When a phenomenon consists of several steps and you are asked to find the probabilities of each outcome from those steps, it is often useful to create a tree diagram. This example is moderately difficult and shows how that process can be done.
