Terraria allows totally normal +∞% melee speed, which breaks the game...

Terraria has a mysterious stat that makes me wonder: Melee speed. It's kinda... weird. Why is it the melee speed? Where is ranged, magic and minion speed? Ah well, who knows, but say, with the power of modding, we can do... something with that stat. A sequel to the well-received series, I assume? you know, making everything... Infinite.
