Singapore has urged the US and China to lead and work together in tackling global challenges. Speaking at the S Rajaratnam Lecture, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat called on both countries to tap on their resources to advance international development. He said this will help the world better address the climate crisis and realise the UN's Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. Mr Heng added that recent events -- such as their joint COP26 declaration -- have shown that both countries want to manage competition responsibly.
