The Bigger the Hoops, the Bigger the Lawsuit

The plaintiff bought earrings from the defendant’s store. She says she wanted to return the earrings even though she never wore them. The store’s employee wouldn’t let her return them, so she’s suing for the price of the earrings. The defendant says the earrings were bought at a discount and there’s no record of trying to return them. Plus, the earrings are costume jewelry, and the defendant says they don’t do refunds on costume jewelry.
