When I was offline, it *DAWNED* on me (excuse the pun), that Rose Green will probably claim the Sabbath in the following verses, to be the Saturday following her perceived Thursday Sabbath. I bring to your attention that this STILL makes three full days and FOUR FULL nights, not three days and three nights. She cannot escape the fact that the bible contradicts itself over the crucifixion, meaning it probably Never Happened.
Matthew 28:1-2
King James Version
28 In the end of the sabbath, as it *BEGAN TO DAWN* toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
Matthew 12:40
King James Version
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and THREE NIGHTS in the heart of the earth.
A full night Wednesday night ~ “…as it *BEGAN TO DAWN* toward the first day of the week…”, equals FOUR FULL NIGHTS.
Jesus couldn’t have possibly left the tomb till after the heavy stone was rolled away by the Angel. The guards were guarding the tomb the whole time. They would have noticed such a big event as the moving of the stone and the replacing of it. Also, all through the generations, Jesus’ has been celebrated by so called Christians worldwide, as rising from the tomb SUNDAY MORNING ~ (Not before sunrise when it was still dark!!).
Mark 15:42-43
King James Version
42 And now when *THE EVEN WAS COME,* because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
43 Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.
(He was put in the tomb at evening).
