RCMP denying medication for Wet'suwet'en elders

UPDATE: Cas Yikh woman and media denied access to Cas Yikh territory.

RCMP turned around a Wet'suwet'en woman carrying heart medication for a Wet'suwet'en Cas Yikh elder. Carrying supplies and medication, the vehicle was stopped by RCMP at the illegal and arbitrary exclusion zone at the entrance to Cas Yikh territory.

This is a violation of the Delgamuukw ruling, of UNDRIP, and of human rights.

The RCMP, on the orders of CGL, are denying Indigenous people access to their own territory and to necessary supplies and medication.

Tell them this is wrong. Call your representatives.
