The main drawcard exhibit of Osaka Aquarium. 34 metres long, 9 metres deep, and holds 5,400 tons of water. Too many species are exhibited to list here, but the stars of the show are the Whale Sharks (the number of Whale Sharks on exhibit varies, but on my visit there were two).
I have my concerns about the Whale Shark's health and wellbeing, even though the tank is large and the Whale Sharks are not full-grown adults, it seems small for them. In addition, none of the Whale Sharks seem to last more than a few years in their care.
