Nebraska suffered yet another excruciating loss when they lost against Michigan 32-29 on Saturday. Nebraska took a 29-26 lead over ninth ranked Michigan with 7 minutes remaining, but Michigan responded and tied the game at 29 with 3 minutes remaining. Nebraska appeared to be in prime position to either win the game or at the very least send it to overtime. However, Nebraska QB Adrian Martinez fumbled the ball with under 2 minutes left as he was fighting for a first down and Michigan recovered. Michigan kicked a field goal to take a 32-29 lead. Then on Nebraska's final drive Michigan stopped them and held on for a crushing 32-29 over Nebraska, who falls to 3-4 on the season.
