How Becky Ndegwa Stumbled Upon Her Successful Maasai Blanket Business

Becky Ndegwa is a typical example of Jack of all trades. She studied English Literature in campus and never practiced it in the classroom. She took on several jobs before settling on the Maasai Shuka blankets business.

In 2013, on Father's Day, she had no idea of what to gift his father for as she says, men are hard to gift. She had a Maasai Shuka in the house and thought of gifting it to her father but the texture was not pleasant. She therefore got a fleece blanket and put it on top of the Maasai Shuka and her mother in law stitched it together for her. The product was pleasant to many and boom! Indigo6 was born.
