Doctor uses Ivermectin as an alternative method to treating COVID-19 patient

As cases of the Delta variant continue to rise so does the controversy among healthcare workers regarding alternative methods of treatment.

Ivermectin, a medication known for treating livestock is being used as a method of treatment for a local patient.

“Ivermectin is so safe,” said Dr. Fred Wagshul, medical director at Lung Center of America in Centerville. “It essentially has no drug interactions and no side effects.
