Is Yearning for God Egoic? | Everyone's a spiritual seeker

Yearning for God and Non-Duality. But does not yearning imply duality? Yearning for something that is not already here?

Yearning is painful. It's a deep longing for something you don't feel you have. In the Upanishads it says the cause for liberation is yearning. In the opening paragraph of 'Who am I?' Ramana says all living beings desire to be happy devoid of any misery. Everybody is looking for God or everybody is looking for liberation or everybody is looking for happiness without any suffering. Everyone's looking for the bliss of the Self. Everyone's a spiritual seeker.

This video was recorded live during a Satsang meeting with Tom Das and put together by volunteers.
