Profile:
Michael Olafusi is a Financial Modeler and Business Data Analysis specialist. He is a certified Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM), a chartered stockbroker in Nigeria and member of UK CISI. He is a 7x Microsoft MVP (most valuable professional). It is the highest recognition in the Microsoft gives an industry expert. He is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer with MCSA BI Reporting, MOS Excel 2013 and MOS Excel 2010 Expert professional certifications. Prior to becoming a full-time consultant, he worked as the Service Delivery Manager for 21st Century Technologies, Business and MIS analyst for Comviva – Airtel Africa CRBT Operations, and as a BSS Engineer for Nokia Siemens Networks.

He has been trading stocks since 2006 and actively participate in the Nigerian and US stocks market. He has built tools around the financial markets and has worked on an return driver model for a foreign hedge fund using Bloomberg Terminal APIs, Excel VBA and stochastic models. He has done several financial and data analysis projects/trainings for Telecommunications companies, Oil and Gas companies, FMCG companies, Financial Services companies, Health Services companies, Aviation companies and NGOs across the globe.

Michael is a professional speaker and trainer. He has a Master in Financial Engineering (MScFE) from WQU, an MBA from University of Nicosia, Cyprus, a B.Eng in Electrical Electronics from Federal University of Technology Akure and a Diploma in Stress Management from Stonebridge Associated Colleges, UK.

He is addicted to business/financial data analysis and enterprise solutions development.
