*Army Awaam and Administration jointly organise Girls Bandminton championship in Boniyar*
BONIYAR, Aug 3: In a Joint effort with Awaam and Administration Army organised a two day interschool badminton championship at Chinar Nau Jawan Club Boniyar. With an aim to promote sports among the daughters of Boniyar, the event was organised jointly with civil administration.
On Day 2 of the championship, out of 32 players from four schools of Boniyar 16 moved the Quarter Finals.The spirit and enthusiasm of the players commensurated with their talent and competitive prowess. The Badminton fever now having gripped Boniyar, the Awaam is now eagerly awaiting the Semis and Finals to be played on 4 Aug. Expressing their gratitude, the School Authorities and the Students conveyed that such events provide a platform to the youth to showcase their talent in Naya Kashmir.
The Awaam is turning out in numbers to celebrate the spirit of the daughters of Boniyar and they are surely rejoicing this change.
